Power management changes to improve performance of kvm guests

Issue

• Our application runs just fine on a bare metal HP DL380-G5, G6 and G7 hardware without any problems. The virtualized solution's performance is 50% less than the bare metal solution. We're using paravirtualized disk drivers, tried to increase vCPUs , memory and even adjusting the scheduler.

• KVM performance is not on par with ESX 5.0

• Recommendations for improving performance
