Certificate System 7.1 CA has a corrupted database

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • The CS's internal slapd instance is not working properly.
  • The problem started after SAN connectivity was lost.
  • Restarting the slapd instance and moving the transaction log did not resolve
  • Have tried the following in attempts to resolve the issue.
    • remove the __db* files
    • move the slapd transactions log
    • db2ldif, ldif2db
    • db2ldif, move transaction log, ldif2db
    • db2index
  • Currently the slapd instance will start without any errors but searches against the base o=NetscapeCertificateServer all return no such object, thus CS cannot function.

Environment
