Why virt-install with --noautoconsole option does not reboot guest after the installation is finished?
Issue
-
While using a kickstart file with "
reboot" specified in the post section of it to get the guest rebooted after installation, running "virt-install" with "--noautoconsole" option to fully automate the installation does not actually reboot the guest after installation is finished. -
On the other hand if "
--nographics" or the default VNC options are used, the process proceeds as normal and the guest is rebooted after completing the kickstart installation.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.5
- python-virtinst-0.400.3-9.el5_5.1
