OpenStack overcloud deploy fails at `ComputeDeployment_Step4` after adding new nodes to the deployment

Issue

  • openstack overcloud deploy results with active compute nodes in the undercloud but nova hypervisor list does not show all nodes available in the overcloud.
  • service containers on compute nodes remain in Restarting status

Environment

  • Red Hat OpenStack Platform 13 (RHOSP13)
  • Red Hat OpenStack Platform 14 (RHOSP14)
