Issue

When installing a new package using PackageKit's pkcon or when updating using Cockpit, it fails with a 404 error.

When using pkcon the following error message is provided:

# pkcon install wget
Resolving [ ] (3%) Command failed: This tool could not find any available package: cannot update repo 'rhel-8-for-x86_64-baseos-rpms': Cannot download repomd.xml: Cannot download repodata/repomd.xml: All mirrors were tried; Last error: Status code: 404 for https://sat65.example.com/pulp/repos/example.com/pre/rhel-8-complete/content/dist/rhel8/8.0/x86_64/baseos/os/repodata/repomd.xml

When using cockpit, the following errors are shown in the Software Updates menu:

Loading available updates failed
cannot update repo 'rhel-8-for-x86_64-baseos-rpms': Cannot download repomd.xml: Cannot download repodata/repomd.xml: All mirrors were tried; Last error: Status code: 404 for https://sat65.example.com/pulp/repos/example.com/pre/rhel-8-complete/content/dist/rhel8/8.0/x86_64/baseos/os/repodata/repomd.xml
