Is there any way to get information of applied patches to JBoss?
Environment
- Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP)
- All versions
- JBoss Operational Network (JON)
Issue
- Is there any way to get information of applied patches to JBoss?
Resolution
-
JBoss does not maintain any information about patches those were applied, and user would need to maintain their own documentation.
-
With JBoss ON it is possible using Bundle deployment feature, Basically the type of content which can be deployed is flexible. A bundle can contain raw configuration files, scripts, ZIP archives, JAR files, or full application servers. And JON maintain the bundle deployment history. For more details please see JON documentation link.
