nfs-server, ntpd or other services based on name resolution do not start at boot

Issue

  • Some services failed to start during the boot:

    # cat sos_commands/logs/journalctl_--no-pager_--catalog_--boot | grep -w "status=1/FAILURE"
    Jan 17 07:41:14 testserv systemd[1]: NetworkManager-wait-online.service: main process exited, code=exited, status=1/FAILURE
    Jan 17 07:41:14 testserv systemd[1]: ntpdate.service: main process exited, code=exited, status=1/FAILURE
    Jan 17 07:41:30 testserv systemd[1]: puppet.service: main process exited, code=exited, status=1/FAILURE
