JBoss to IBM MQ message sending fails with error code 2035

Issue

  • While connecting from JBoss to IBM MQ fails when JBoss runs using username "jbossuser" and MQ is configured and running using "mquser". The following exception is observed in the log:
2013-07-01 22:34:43,105 [http-0.0.0.0-8443-5] DEBUG SCBCN_MQ_INTERFACE 0149022c6fc151a0 -- test.MessageQueueInterface:MQ Exception : com.ibm.mq.MQException: MQJE001: Completion Code '2', Reason '2035'.
  • IBM MQ is configured with "client" transport mode. And the JBoss to MQ communication happens successfully when JBoss also runs with the same username as the IBM MQ.
