DMA memory allocation function returns bad address in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4

Issue

The DMA memory allocation function pci_alloc_consistent() is returning a bus address which is failing DMA for an unknown reason. It appears the DMA transfer completes, but the data is incorrect.
