Channel binding mismatch error using JBoss Negotiation with SSL on EAP

Issue

I am trying to setup SPNEGO.

It works perfectly using http on 8080.

When using https on 8443 it fails with an error indicationg

12:45:43,784 ERROR [SPNEGOLoginModule] Unable to authenticate
GSSException: Channel binding mismatch (Mechanism level: ChannelBinding not provided!)
        at sun.security.jgss.krb5.InitialToken$OverloadedChecksum.<init>(InitialToken.java:239)
        at sun.security.jgss.krb5.InitSecContextToken.<init>(InitSecContextToken.java:102)
