Static Route doesn't get configured when system reboots

Issue

• /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/route-eth0 is configured with 192.168.2.3 via 192.168.1.2 dev eth0, but the route does not show up when using route -n after a reboot. We need to manually add it by using ip route add 192.168.2.3 via 192.168.1.2 dev eth0, which is removed after the server reboots.
