Does iptables support the "iptables.d" configuration directory?

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • Does iptables support the iptables.d configuration directory?
  • There’s a Chef cookbook named iptables that says it creates rules defined /etc/iptables.d to prevent overwriting of the master /etc/sysconfig/iptables file and allows more granular control of base rules plus application-specific rules. Does this functionality exist in RHEL?
