Does iptables support the "iptables.d" configuration directory?
Issue
- Does iptables support the
iptables.d
configuration directory? - There’s a Chef cookbook named iptables that says it creates rules defined
/etc/iptables.d
to prevent overwriting of the master/etc/sysconfig/iptables
file and allows more granular control of base rules plus application-specific rules. Does this functionality exist in RHEL?
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- iptables
