  • Cronjobs are failing for "root" user and following error is observed in /var/log/secure:
Apr 23 19:31:01 rhel7 crond[90063]: (root) PAM ERROR (Failure setting user credentials)
Apr 23 19:31:01 rhel7 crond[90063]: (root) FAILED to authorize user with PAM (Failure setting user credentials)
