Can not use 'makedumpfile --mem-usage /proc/kcore' to test the vmcore file size

Issue

  • If use the command 'makedumpfile --mem-usage /proc/kcore' to test the vmcore size, it will show:
xclude_free_page: Can't get necessary symbols for excluding free pages.


makedumpfile Failed.
  • If use this command 'makedumpfile -f --mem-usage /proc/kcore', it will show:
copy_vmcoreinfo: Can't read the dump memory(/proc/kcore). Bad address


makedumpfile Failed.
