What should be the Metamatrix XML-Relational HTTP Proxy Server URI be?

Issue

  • We have successfuly built a XML-Relational HTTP Connector that can access an XML file when we are disconnected from the Bank's network.  Unfortunately the connector fails when we are connected.  This, of course, is probably a HTTP proxy issue.
  • We are entering this value in the XML connector:
      Proxy server URI: http://webproxy.example.com:8080

  • However we still can not connect to the exact same XML page.  Does the URL look correct? 

  • Is there something else that we are missing?

  • MetaMatrix Enterprise Server 5.5.x
  • MetaMatrix Enterprise Designer 5.5.x
  • MetaMatrix XML Relational HTTP Connector
