Update text lost when session times out in Red Hat Customer Portal ticketing system
Issue
- I raised an issue, waited for a while because I was busy being distracted by other stuff, then attempted to add a comment. In other words my session expired. However, there is no error handling for this scenario so I get the general error screen
- I would expect it to behave as follows:
1. I've left it for a while and my session on the server has timed out, but I still have the ticket form open in my browser
2. I submit the form using my browser
3. The server realizes my session has expired, remembers what data I've submitted and redirects me to the login screen
4. Upon successful login the data I submitted is saved to the ticket.
