SecurityException when creating ActiveMQ Broker

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

Hi,

In Fuse 7.1, I was attempting to set up an ActiveMQ broker on an existing container using the following:

fabric:mq-create --assign-container my-esb-container myBroker

fabric:profile-edit --pid org.fusesource.mq.fabric.server-myBroker/broker-name=myBroker myBroker\
fabric:profile-edit --pid org.fusesource.mq.fabric.server-myBroker/standalone=true myBroker
fabric:profile-edit --pid org.fusesource.mq.fabric.server-myBroker/data=${karaf.base}/instances/my-esb-container/data/myBroker myBroker
fabric:profile-edit --pid org.fusesource.mq.fabric.server-myBroker/config=${karaf.base}/etc/activemq.xml myBroker

The broker creates and starts but when I attempt to connect to the broker via my Camel routes, I get a SecurityException of:

reason: java.lang.SecurityException: User name [null] or password is invalid

Environment

  • Fuse ESB Enterprise 7.1
  • JBoss Fuse 6.0
