Issue

  • Deleting and creating a durable queue in qpid occasionally results in the older queue remaining visible in the list of queues
  • Stopping and starting all applications does not result in the queue being removed from the list
  • Queue is being deleted and created in the following manner:
    • Unbind queue from the exchange
    • Delete queue (reports success but the queue remains in list)
    • Create queue
    • Bind queue to exchange (The newer queue is bound to exchange)
  • The old queue does not interfere in any operations; the newer queue is the one seen by all applications
