Starting JBoss server with a LDAP domain account user in Unix/Linux
Issue
- Is this scenario possible and supported ?
- Is it possible to switch the JBoss deamon process to an AD domain account so to start the JBoss with AD/LDAP domain account ?
Environment
- Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP)
- 7.x
- RHEL 7 server already joined to the AD domain; AD accounts are available on the RHEL 7 server
- Currently starting JBoss with a "normal" OS local unix/linux account; but looking to run the JBoss instance with an AD domain account
