Issue

  • Deployment for application including jberet-schedule-timer.jar fails with missing security-domain "exampleAppDomain", even though Elytron was correctly configured with the "exampleAppDomain"; for example:

    16:25:31,632 ERROR [org.jboss.as.controller.management-operation] (Controller Boot Thread) WFLYCTL0013: Operation ("deploy") failed - address: ([("deployment" => "exampleApp.war")]) -         failure description: {
        "WFLYCTL0412: Required services that are not installed:" => ["jboss.security.security-domain.exampleAppDomain"],
        "WFLYCTL0180: Services with missing/unavailable dependencies" => ["jboss.deployment.unit.\"exampleApp.war\".component.TimerSchedulerBean.CREATE is missing [        jboss.security.security-domain.exampleAppDomain]"]
    }

Environment

  • Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform
    • 7.2
  • Elytron security domain configured
