Satellite upgrade process failed with error 'Failed to retrieve our schema package name and version'

Issue

  • RHN Satellite upgrade to 5.3 version from satellite v. 5.0.0-26 failed during "schema-upgrade" process and it throws following error:

    # /usr/bin/satellite-5.3.0-schema-upgrade 
error: file /etc/sysconfig/rhn/oracle/main.sql: No such file or directory 
Failed to retrieve our schema package name and version.
