CUPS may not be able to print files generated by FAME or Simvision in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
Issue
-
CUPS is not able to print "PS-Adobe-2.0 EPSF-2.0" files. (Note that although this is the original description of the problem, the problem is not with all ESPF-2.0 files, but rather that some of them are malformatted.)
-
Unable to print an encapsulated postscript file with the following header to a postscript printer.
%!PS-Adobe-3.0 EPSF-3.0(Again, this is not a problem with all ESPF-3.0 files, but only those that aren't quite formatted properly.)
-
CUPS may not be able to print files generated by "FAME" or "Cadence Simvision".
- CUPS may have problems printing some Encapsulated PostScript (EPS) files properly.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.3
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.4
- Documents generated by the FAME or Cadence Simvision programs
- Encapsulated PostScript documents
