Why "service network restart" is giving error as "./network-functions: line 446: echo: write error: Operation not permitted" ?

Issue

  • With bonding configured, when restarting network service the said error message is displayed.
  • Configured bonding on the server.
  • After configuration , when restarting network service, it is giving below error:
# service network restart
