Does RHEL5 support Intel AES hardware extension?
Issue
- The servers are running Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E7-2870. According to Intel web site, it does support new
hardware AES instructions (AES-NI). - Does RHEL5 support these? If yes, how can one make sure that
LUKSis using this feature? Does it do it by default?
