  • What all Oracle user privileges required to upgrade from Red Hat Satellite 5.7 to 5.8 ?

  • Upgrade check script fails with following error :

# ./check-oracle-privs
'xxxx' user is missing CREATE OPERATOR privilege.
  • /etc/sysconfig/rhn/satellite-upgrade/doc/preparations.txt document listed following privileges only.
ALTER SESSION
    CREATE SEQUENCE
    CREATE SYNONYM
    CREATE TABLE
    CREATE VIEW
    CREATE PROCEDURE
    CREATE TRIGGER
    CREATE TYPE
    CREATE SESSION
