Issue

Following errors are seen in messages log files.


ads_krb5_mk_req: smb_krb5_get_credentials failed for ldap/host.ad.example.com@AD.EXAMPLE.COM (Cannot find KDC for requested realm) [2013/05/24 11:04:35.423642, 10, pid=14462] libads/sasl.c:899(ads_sasl_spnego_bind) ads_sasl_spnego_krb5_bind failed with: Cannot find KDC for requested realm, calling kinit [2013/05/24 11:04:35.423770, 10, pid=14462] libads/kerberos.c:191(kerberos_kinit_password_ext) kerberos_kinit_password: as AKL0MW304$@CORP.AD.EXAMPLE.COM using [MEMORY:winbind_ccache] as ccache and config [(null)] [2013/05/24 11:04:35.443563, 1, pid=14462] libsmb/clikrb5.c:710(ads_krb5_mk_req)

Regardless of these errors we are successfully able to login to our systems using AD accounts.
