winbind error : ¨ads_krb5_mk_req: smb_krb5_get_credentials failed for ldap/host.ad.example.com@AD.EXAMPLE.COM (Cannot find KDC for requested realm)¨
Issue
Following errors are seen in messages log files.
ads_krb5_mk_req: smb_krb5_get_credentials failed for ldap/host.ad.example.com@AD.EXAMPLE.COM (Cannot find KDC for requested realm)

ads_sasl_spnego_krb5_bind failed with: Cannot find KDC for requested realm, calling kinit

kerberos_kinit_password: as AKL0MW304$@CORP.AD.EXAMPLE.COM using [MEMORY:winbind_ccache] as ccache and config [(null)]

Regardless of these errors we are successfully able to login to our systems using AD accounts.
