Can we pass credentials to the Connectors in MetaMatrix?

Within MetaMatrix is it possible to have users logging onto external database connectors as themselves and not a hard coded user?

For example if someone is authenticating using LDAP is it possible to then have connectors using the same LDAP credentials for authentication?
