Issue

  • Service gone into recovery state on two node RHEL 5.4 cluster
  • Why sgp_iprocess service stuck in recovery state . It was in recovery state for very long time and there were no update in cluster.log files or messages files.

  • What is use of cluster service if we need to reboot all nodes to normalize the services. It does not make any sense.

  • Please send root cause analysis of this case.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5 or 6 with the High Availability Add On
  • Two Node Cluster
