How to configure a multicast ntp server
Issue
- We configured a multicast ntp server and its clients. And we expect clients to set their time with the ntp server. When we monitor network about ntp packets, we see only ntp requests which clients send, there is no ntp packets from the multicast ntp server.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) (All releases)
- NTP (version > 4)
