Can kdump report if any setting in /etc/kdump.conf is changed when earlydump is enabled?

Solution In Progress - Updated -

Issue

  • earlykdump inherits the settings from /etc/kdump.conf file. If earlykdump support is enabled on the system then any changes in /etc/kdump.conf file followed by a restart of the kdump service should inform a user to rebuild the initramfs of the booting kernel to use the new setting for ealrykdump otherwise, earlykdump will use the older settings of /etc/kdump.conf file.
