proxy-server issues with MPM worker.c
Issue
- In an effort to improve performance on the proxy server customer enabled MPM worker threads in HTTPD.
- After doing this connections to the proxy server would begin throwing various errors into the HTTPD error_log.
- The errors vary.
- Customer wants to know if there is a problem with using MPM worker threads in conjunction with the RHN proxy.
Environment
- RHN Satellite Server
- RHN Proxy Server configured to use RHN Satellite Server as source.
- Apache HTTPD configured out of spec to default to use MPM worker
