32-bit RHEL6 kernel sees only 4k of swap, or encounters a swapon failure
Issue
- 32-bit RHEL6 kernel registers swap space of 4 KiB only regardless of the actual swap area size.
- 32-bit RHEL6 kernel encounters "Invalid argument" (
-EINVAL) error fromswaponcommand (systemcall).
