Random Copy/Paste Issues between Client and Guest

Issue

  • Random copy / paste issues between client and guest
  • We are seeing a seemingly random issue
  • Copy and paste to and from a VM stops working
  • Most often, the problem is copying from the Windows client and pasting into the RHEL6 VM
  • Resolution seems to be to close the remote-viewer application and re-launch it

Environment

Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization (RHEV) 3.1, 3.2
Microsoft Windows 7 Client system
Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6.x guests (may not be unique to this type of guest)
