Red Hat Certificate System 8, smartcards, why certificates may not be revoked when a token status is marked "lost"?

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

With Red Hat Certificate System 8, some token's certificates may not be revoked, although a token status may be set to "temporarily lost", or "permanently lost".
The token's status transition from temp_lost to temp_lost_perm_lost does not terminate the associated certificates, which stay with status "active".
Shoudn't the token's transition from temp_lost to temp_lost_perm_lost permanently revoke the token's certificates?
