Logs of atomic-openshift-node show error "unable to inspect docker image" in OCP 3

Issue

  • Logs of atomic-openshift-node are spammed with unable to inspect docker image errors like this:

  • Some pods that previously existed on the node fail to start its containers after a node reboot.
