How to set host domain in javamail headers?

Issue

We have noticed javamail reveals the server fqdn in the header Message-ID.
E.g.:
Message-ID: 407716675.1.1364456890495.JavaMail.jboss@sv-137lm11.lab2.1327.local

We use the default javamail subsystem. Is it possible to remove the part after the @ character in the message-id mail header?
