RHV - Logical network with special characters in the name will have UUID based network names on the host

Solution In Progress - Updated -

Issue

If a logical network is created in RHV, that contains special characters, this will result in networks on the host being named with a UUID. For example, if a space is used in a logical network, on the host the network may have a name such as onffd6a40945e3 and corresponding ifcfg-onffd6a40945e3 file.

Environment

  • RHV 4.1
  • RHV 4.2
