Why does the SPM execute 'dd' commands every 3 seconds on the SAN every 3 seconds
Issue
The SPM (Storage Pool Manager) executes a dd and many I/O on the SAN.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization 2.2
- Fibre Channel or iSCSI based block storage
