Issue

  • Unable to add 'resource' in RHEL Cluster. Following messages found in logs:
Aug  8 14:56:50 hostname ccsd[9503]: Unable to open /etc/cluster/cluster.conf-update: Permission denied
Aug 8 14:56:51 hostname luci[9350]: Unable to retrieve batch 1347255393 status from hostname:11111: ccs_tool failed to propagate conf: Failed to receive COMM_UPDATE_NOTICE_ACK from hostname. Hint: Check the log on hostname for reason.  Failed to update config file.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 5 (with the High Availability and Resilient Storage Add Ons)
