Can we have more than one schedule-provider in an ESB deployment?

Issue

We would like to have two different schedule-providers in one ESB deployment, each generating different messages on different schedules. When we attempt to do so, we receive the error below. What steps do we need to take to support this configuration?

java.lang.RuntimeException: org.jboss.soa.esb.ConfigurationException: Configuration contains 2 configurations. Only one of this provider type can exist per configuration.

Environment

  • JBoss SOA Platform (SOA-P) 5.x
  • JBoss SOA Platform (SOA-P) 4.x
