Registry-console pod displays No certificate found int dir: /etc/cockpit/ws-certs.d

Issue

  • After installation the registry-console pod shows the following error
$ oc logs pod/registry-console-6-bmcpt
2018/12/18 02:11:46 Failed to generate certificates exit status 1 remotectl: No certificate found in$dir: /etc/cockpit/ws-certs.d
  • Curling the route returns "Application is not available" on the web page.

  • Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform
    • 3.9.51
