- Direct mapping in auto.master is mounted without accessing the files.
$ cat /etc/auto.master | grep direct
/- /etc/auto.direct
$ cat /etc/auto.direct
/path/to/automount -fstype=nfs,rw 10.10.10.10:/path/to/nfs/export
