Custom configured certmonger action scripts do not execute during a certificate rotation

Issue

  • We use certmonger for certificate updates in our environment and include a post-save script to restart various services. During the last rotation, the script did not successfully restart the various services and an outage was incurred.

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7
  • SElinux enforcing
  • certmonger
    • pre-save commands configured
    • post-save commands configured
