Deployment results in "Failed to setup clustering" warning in JBoss EAP

Issue

When deploying on the default profile (no clustering) I received the following warning in the server.log file:

2010-08-03 11:24:05,518 WARN  [org.jboss.web.tomcat.service.deployers.TomcatDeployment] (main) Failed to setup clustering, clustering disabled. NoClassDefFoundError: org/jboss/cache/pojo/jmx/PojoCacheJmxWrapperMBean

Why would I receive this message for a non-clustered profile
