Issue

  • On below system we got read-only file system and Input/output error.

/opt/scripts/loginlog.sh: line 3: /opt/loginlogs/loginledger.log: Read-only file system 
[root@server ~]# touch /backup/test 
touch: cannot touch `/backup/test': Input/output error

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.4
  • x86_64
  • kernel-2.6.18-164.el5
