RHEL 8: ifup fails with "Error: unknown connection '/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-ensX'"
Issue
- If use
NM_CONTROLLED=noin ifcfg file, unable to bring up interfaces with 'ifup' command. ifupcommands fails with below error when try to bring up ens3 interface.
# ifup ens3
Error: unknown connection '/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-ens3'.
