Unable to mount GFS2 filesystem with error 'sysfs: cannot create duplicate filename'

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • Unable to get the GFS2 filesystem resource in started state while the other GFS2 filesystem gets mounted and in Started state.
  • In logs we can find following error being reported
Dec  4 17:22:47 node1 kernel: sysfs: cannot create duplicate filename '/fs/gfs2/test_cluster:gfsfs'

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6 or 7
  • Pacemaker Cluster with Resilient Storage Add On
