JERR_WMGR_ENQDISCONT and RHM_IORES_BUSY errors for a qpid broker journal

Issue

We have seen JERR_WMGR_ENQDISCONT and RHM_IORES_BUSY errors (see details in Diagnostic Steps) for a journal of a queue. Since that time:

  • the queue raised random errors when trying to publish to or consume from it
  • at the end, queue statistics showed impossibly high queue depth (over 10g) - does not occur on MRG 2.3
