Issue

  • Unable to add users to HBAC or sudo rule if user category is set to all:
[root@rhel7-ipa ~]# ipa hbacrule-add-user test_hbac --users=admin
ipa: ERROR: users cannot be added when user category='all'

[root@rhel7-ipa ~]# ipa hbacrule-add-user test_hbac --groups=admins
ipa: ERROR: users cannot be added when user category='all'
  • IPA command is failing with an error:
ipa: ERROR: users cannot be added when user category='all'
