Error with storage quota model uses this field / metric “allocated disk storage”

Issue

  • Within Vsphere client you can see a virtual machine with a 25 disk that its using 213gb after total snapshot storage size calculated. When a quota report the VM’s Allocated disk storage is 25GB and not the total storage quota for the virtual machine. On the disks view “used size” seems to be more true reflection of actual datastore usage. Can we change what the storage quota model checks against?
